Maria D. Lumb, J.D., LL.M., graduated law school in 1999 with highest honors and received her LL.M. in Taxation from NYU Law in 2000.
Immediately prior to joining Lumb Law PLLC, Maria was a partner in a boutique law firm for 11 years, specializing in employee benefits and taxation. Maria also worked as an Attorney-Advisor at the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel, where she drafted regulations, participated in public hearings, and collaborated with the Department of Labor, Department of Justice, and Treasury Department on various employee benefits and federal tax issues.
Prior to that, Maria spent 11 years in the Miami and DC offices of a large national law firm.
Maria is licensed to practice law in Florida and the District of Columbia.
